..then squeeze a slice over a fresh portion of battered haddock.  Not quite the saying you expected?  Well I'm adaptable if nothing else.  I'm of the opinion that a portion of fish and chips will do something to help right most wrongs, make the day worth living for and at least give you greasy fingers.  And the wrapping is great for starting fires.  In the woodburner of course. (looks guiltily over shoulder)  However it's hard to see the bright side of not being workshop fit.  There are many who would like more time to pursue their own interests, there are those who have no intention of doing anything, there are those who would like to do both but cannot.  There are those who wax both lyrically and philosophically on the internet oh crap I've turned into one of them.  Ok the bright side is this.  Today I watched Magnum Force for the first time.  I love Clint Eastwood, no, I love him man.  I have not seen the film before even though it was released in 1973.  (In 1973 I was 10 years old).  For those of you who don't know, Clint Eastwood is Dirty Harry.  No, not as in Redknapp.  Dirty Harry is on the trail of vigilante cops who are not above going beyond the law to kill the city's undesirables.  It's a cracking film, gritty and ultimately altruistic.  A bit like me if I was Clint Eastwood.  Yes this is the bright side, no matter how small or insignificant to most people, I saw Magnum Force for the first time today.  And maybe next week I'll be back in the workshop for an hour or two.
