...a month makes.  From being knocked out of the League Cup by the eventual winners, Birmingham, then beating Forest in the FA Cup 3-2, then being beaten by Brum again in the League 0-1, to thumping Blackpool 1-3, an unfortunate 2-2 draw away at Everton a dramatic fightback to a 3-3 draw at the Hawthorns, thrashing Burnley 5-1 in the FA Cup to secure a quarter final place against Stoke before joy of joys, beating Liverpool 3-1 at the Boleyn yesterday.  (the ground not the Workshop.)  Going back to the Everton result I don't think a goal scored by Fellaini's hair should stand.  That hair gives him an unfair advantage.  But back to yesterdays game.  Let me tell you the roof near lifted off the Boleyn Workshop when that second goal went in but not for the reason you're thinking.  Then when they got one back the OSP tendencies were temporarily recalled before Carlton Cole put the game beyond their slippery little fingers.  I can't remember the last time the Hammers beat the Pool at the Boleyn.  I've only seen them play there twice and witnessed a 1-1 draw and a 0-3 loss.  Wish I'd been there yesterday and wish even more I'd paid a visit to Ladbrokes as I had predicted the correct final score with odds of 30-1.  For once.  It's a good job there's been plenty of positive football news to write about as I am still not yet 100% workshop fit.  Managed a little tidy up over the weekend and paid the price.  Not to worry though, Spring is in the air and I have my injections booked for the 24th of March.  Ah, sweet relief.  Might need it too after the quarter finals.
